Our Services
For years we have been the leading contractor in Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka when it comes to spray foam and insulation projects.
When it comes to building performance we have the perfect options for every job and budget.
Spray foam is more than just a great insulator. It can act as an air barrier, stopping air from entering or escaping the structure. Why is this important? Think about a cold day and you have your heat set at 72 degrees, if your building isnt air tight then all the conditioned air is able to escape, especially in the roof areas, hot air will always travel up, and out of the building if there is an opportunity. Like water, air will always find an exit. Spray foam insulation also is a radiant barrier that is chemically attached to the structure it is sprayed to. Since it is bonded to the substrate, there is no air gap in the wall assembly. The issue with this is that the air left in the gap can become superheated when the sun is shining on the building, and the insulation in the wall or roof has to try stopping a much more extreme heat than it is designed for. Having the insulation bonded to the sheeting stops this and makes for a much more efficient build. Sound control can also be an important factor to consider when picking an insulation product such as spray foam. The density of Closed Cell Foam is so high that it doesn't stop noise from transferring through it. Typically on a shop house type of build, where the structure is sheeted with tin or metal siding, we will spray closed cell foam initially to get the benefits of the radiant and vapor barriers, then apply open cell foam over that to act as a sound deadener and sound control.
Overall, spray foam is a versatile option for all Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka construction projects including remodels, new construction, barns and shops, commercial buildings, and agricultural insulation projects. And as a roofing system it is the most reliable option to give life back into old, failing roofs. We have even sprayed storage buildings for a KC exotic car rental company.
Closed cell foam is perfect for shops, barns, homes build with 2x4 framing, and vaulted ceilings where spacing can be an issue. It also carries the highest R-value per inch of all insulation options and acts as a radiant and vapor barrier. It also can greatly increase the racking strength of a structure.

Popular for its affordability, open cell foam is a perfect option and upgrade from fiberglass in wood framed and sheeted structures in the KC and Topeka areas. It's also does a great job at deadening noise inside the building because of its light density.
Popular midwest, and KC areas because it is 100% seamless, foam roofs can be applied of most existing commercial roofs. Since it can be applied on most commonly used roofing systems it is a perfect option to go over existing roofs that may leak instead of trying to repair faulty sheeting or repairing leaky screws.

An important option that most contractors fail to offer is coating any exposed foam. Required on any commercial or industrial space, any exposed spray foam insulation must be coated with a fireproof paint to protect the foam in case of a fire. While most foam has fire retardant materials in them, the paint is to keep flame from touching the foam and reducing the smoke in case of a fire.
Real, Satisfied Clients

With energy efficiency becoming more and more prevalent, spray foam insulation has never been as popular as it is today in Kansas City. Over half of the new buildings being designed are calling for spray foam because of its efficiency and ease of application. It also will last as long as the building itself, it does not degrade over time, is mold resistant, and can be formed to fit in oddly shaped cavities that would be a struggle to insulate with traditional materials. Every year the codes in KC and Lawrence, Ks get more strict for building insulation, and there are bills being passed in Washington that give incentives to homeowners reducing the energy consumption of their homes. Now is the time to take advantage of these programs, and some energy companies are giving rebates to increase the efficiency of existing homes also.
